The new Smittybilt XRC Tailgate with tire carrier uses an OE bolt configuration, cast steel hinge points and a hardened steel pin to eliminate tailgate sag forever!
Manufactured from 14-gauge steel with a durable light texture finish, this product bolts on with no drilling or cutting required.
The XRC Tailgate features integrated tie down points, roof access steps, a bottle opener and can be installed with Smittybilt or factory bumpers.
Designed and engineered in California.

XRC Tailgate with Tire Carrier for Jeep Wrangler JK / JKU:
- Heavy-duty construction to support up to 37" tires
- Pre-drilled holes for factory handles and latch transfer
- Rigged cast steel hinge points and 1” hardened pin eliminate tailgate sag
- Step and built-in bottle opener
- Includes third brake light
- Direct bolt-on installation

Notes:
- Can be used with XRC tyre carrier or slant tyre carrier adapter 76857 and 76857-05 (sold separately)
- Combination of XRC tailgate and slant adapter will not work with Smittybilt slant hard top 517703
